Erika Tsouras
Abstract painter — acrylic, ink and watercolor on wood
Featuring this First Friday
Showing at Meadowlark Art Studio on Friday, October 2, 2026.
Opening night for "Finding Peace in Times of Conflict," a new collection of colorful abstract paintings on wood, at her Birch Avenue studio, 5–9 PM.
Erika Tsouras has lived and painted in Flagstaff since 2004. She earned a master's in art education at Northern Arizona University and taught K-12 art for ten years before opening Meadowlark Art Studio, a working studio, gallery, and art school across Birch Avenue from the county courthouse. Her expressive paintings in acrylic, ink, and watercolor respond to current events and human stories while staying rooted in nature; she often works on wood and lets the grain, water, and pigment find their own paths through the piece. For the October 2026 walk she opens "Finding Peace in Times of Conflict," abstract paintings that sit with a hard world and reach for connection, healing, balance, and calm (per Creative Flagstaff's October listing).
